2016 Abendmusik Children's Choir Festival: music that inspires

Saturday, February 27th - 9:00 to 12:30 p.m. (Concert at 12:00 p.m.)

Children's choirs or individual singers (grades 3 through 5) from the region are invited to gather in Lincoln's First-Plymouth Church on Saturday, February 27th for the sixth annual Abendmusik Children's Choir Festival. We welcome special guest conductor Madeline Bridges, a sought-after children's choir leader and nationally-celebrated master teacher from Nashville, to guide our young singers. The children will learn three pieces with their home choirs in advance of our festival day, then the singers assemble on Festival Day to rehearse with Dr. Bridges.  This year's festival will culminate with the children singing in a noon performance in the beautiful acoustics of First-Plymouth Church's sanctuary.
